The Chief Operating Officer is a new and pivotal role in the Film and TV Charity’s leadership team, created to help us scale our impact and build a stronger, more sustainable future. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll lead our income generation, digital strategy, finance and operations – ensuring that our strategic ambitions are matched by the systems, partnerships and resources needed to deliver them.

This is a high impact, externally facing role that combines commercial acumen with operational leadership. You’ll take charge of developing and diversifying our income streams, working with the CEO to build relationships with major donors, funders, and corporate partners. You’ll lead on identifying and executing new funding opportunities, including commercial ventures and strategic partnerships.

Internally, you’ll ensure the charity runs smoothly and efficiently. That means leading the finance and operations functions, overseeing our digital infrastructure, and ensuring our governance and compliance remain rock solid. You’ll also play a key role in developing staff and empowering your teams to deliver at a high level.

This is a great opportunity for someone who brings energy, strategic clarity, and a collaborative leadership style. You might come from the charity world, the creative industries, or a commercial background – what matters most is your ability to connect the dots between vision and delivery, and to build the systems, relationships and culture that help a mission-led organisation thrive.

We are deeply committed to increasing diversity of all kinds – particularly ethnicity, disability, age and socio-economic class – in our team, so if this opportunity catches your eye, please do consider discussing it with our advisers at Cadence Partners.
